Who am I?
Born and raised in London I have now found myself living in Loughborough, a sports thriving town. I have just completed a sports science degree at Loughborough university, the number 1 rated sports university in the UK. Alongside completing a nutrition based dissertation (meta-analysis and systematic review).
Having recently worked with England Netball and trained alongside international top level Futsal players whilst also studying with Olympic gold medalists I understand what it takes to be a top level athlete.
During my time playing Futsal I have endured a handful of bad injuries such as tendon damage to my Achilles, a grade 2 MCL tear, multiple sprained ligaments in my ankle and Osgood Schlatters disease in my knees. This gave me lots of time to understand how nutrition can enhance performance and help to prevent injury. This time out injured really heightened my interest in how beneficial nutrition can be.
I now find myself on this new journey to help transfer my knowledge of nutrition to individuals to help them reach the best version of themselves.
